What you will learn:

In this course students will gain an understanding of Informatica Powercenter architecture and its components. Moreover they will be able to do an Informatica Powercenter installation and configuration. Participants will get practical experience developing an ETL with Informatica Powercenter, by building mappings and defining the execution workflows as well as monitoring an ETL execution. 

Course Description:

The goals of the ETL Informatica PowerCenter training course are:

• To understand the architecture, installation and configuration of Informatica PowerCenter.
• To provide the technical knowledge to develop an ETL, from building the mappings to defining the workflows, and to monitor an ETL execution with Informatica PowerCenter.

Target Audience:

• BI Consultants – learn how to develop an ETL with Informatica PowerCenter
• IT Project Managers – get an idea of the cost involved in an ETL development to better estimate and manage your BI project
• IT Project Managers – understand Oracle BI capabilities and how they can fulfill their organisation reporting needs

Pre-requisites:

Basic ETL knowledge is needed to enroll this course.
